Scopes in commerce stream

Meaning

Commerce from an educational view is the study of  business and trade activities which consists of exchange of goods and services.This study consists of Accountancy,Economics and Business Studies as main subjects.But remember before choosing commerce for your career is beneficial only when you have a keen interest in it cause it requires a lots of technical and practical knowledge.It also requires a lots of practice in mastering the subjects.It has a lots of career options some of them are listed below.But first i will give a description of the main subjects of commerce stream.

Economics

• Study of production,distribution and consumption of goods and services.
• Divided into two main parts- Micro-economics and Macro-economics.

Accountancy

• The process of recording and summarizing financial transactions is known as book keeping.
• The process of measuring, summarizing, and communicating the financial information produced by book keeping to classify and explain account information to relevant parties such as shareholders and managers.

Business Studies

• Study of business operations.
• involve theoretical, and perhaps also practical,coursework in how to manage a company, construct a business model and generally run a business.
